Getting married in the castle

How about a wedding ceremony in the atmospheric ambience of the Upper Castle?

The Siegerlandmuseum with its newly opened and redesigned “Spiegelsaal” offers a very special setting for your wedding vows. The stylish furnishings and the large rococo mirror give the hall a unique character. Seating is available for 25 people, including the bridal couple and witnesses, as well as 5 standing places.

Your wedding ceremony can be completed by a champagne reception in the “Gotische Halle”. This can be booked separately with the administration of the Siegerlandmuseum (Tel.: +49 271 404 1902). Upon request and prior arrangement, professional musicians you hire can accompany your ceremony on the piano. For an additional fee of €45 (1 hour), you may also hold your bridal photo shoot in the wedding room and “Gotische Halle” (Please note: bridal couple photo shoots are only possible for couples who were married by the Standesamt Siegen). You and your guests are welcome to explore the museum afterwards.

Please note that the dates for the wedding ceremonies can only be allocated by the registry office.
